Another Global Programme completed with Unit4

Technical ERP Limited have successfully completed another global migration Project with Unit4’s Cloud Operations Team since being recognised with Unit4 Partner status.
Having previously relocated 100+ global Customers in 2019/20 and throughout the CoronaVirus pandemic from Unit4 Data Centre’s to Microsoft Azure, we were delighted to help with another exciting Project.
This time, tasked with managing the relocation of 70 customers across 5 platforms and the full suite of Unit4 Products, ERP (Agresso), Financials (Coda) and Unit4 FP&A (Prevero) to reduce the infrastructure estate, ensure customers were on up-to-date Product versions, Contracts and to standardise legacy infrastructure configurations to Unit4’s SaaS standards.
The Customers included large Public and Private Sector businesses across the UK, Europe and USA on legacy Infrastructure, legacy Products, or both.
We worked directly with each Customer, and with Teams across Unit4 to deliver this Project including C-Level Leadership, Cloud Operations, Legal, Sales & Account Management, Professional Services, Product Teams and all levels of Unit4 Support to successfully deliver the Project working towards
aggressive and often immovable deadlines.
Senior Cloud Operations Manager, John Weston provided his thoughts on another successful Project working together.
“In 2019 Technical ERP worked with us on a significant Project to move 100+ customers to new Data Centre’s. Chris Davidson was the Project Manager tasked with making this as smooth as possible for the customers, as their primary contact. This involved numerous customer calls, technical discussions and negotiations whilst the Technical Team moved the customers according to the detailed schedule’s provided by Chris. The Project was a success and much of that was down to Chris’ Project Management and customer facing skills, ensuring the Technical Team were never over committed and schedules were carefully managed.
We asked Technical ERP to work with us again for a year in 2024/25 to help us Project Manage the move of 70+ customers on various legacy platforms to our latest solutions. Chris once again demonstrated his customer facing skills and determination to ensure deadlines were met. This Project was even more challenging due to customers needing more convincing to make the move and to dedicate resource. Chris’s negotiation skills got the Project over the line. He has a great understanding of our Financial and ERP products which in turn gave the customers the confidence to work with us on the migrations.
