Job Title: Project/Engagement Manager – ERP Rollout for Schools
Location: Remote – occasional travel may be required at key points of the programme, ie go live and Hypercare
Job Type: 12 month Fixed Term contract or Day rate contract
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project/Engagement Manager with a background in local government and ERP systems. The successful candidate will lead and support a number of schools through significant business process changes as part of a new ERP rollout. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of both the education sector and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for schools and local government officials.
- Facilitate regular meetings with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Ensure that stakeholder expectations are managed and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support Business Process Analysis:
- Analyse current business processes within the schools and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with schools to understand their unique needs and customise ERP solutions accordingly.
- Manage development and documentation of new business processes and workflows.
- Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management strategies to support schools through the transition.
- Support training delivery on the new ERP systems and processes.
- Address and resolve any resistance to change.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a focus on ERP implementations.
- Proven experience working with local government entities and educational institutions.
- Strong understanding of business processes within schools and the education sector.
- Skills:
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and related technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
